Was created in 1989 the company: Sermatex Consultoria e Comércio Ex Ltda. The name SERMATEX comes from portuguese: “SERviços e Materiais elétricos para ATmosferas Explosivas“ (Electrics Services and Materials for Explosive Atmospheres).
In 1994 springs up Sermatex Grün Equipamentos Elétricos LTDA (Electric Equipments), beginning industrial activities with the fabrication of electrics components and accessories for use at explosive atmospheres.
At the year of 1998, always taking as aim the quality of their products and process, was certificated by “Sistema de Qualidade” (Quality System) NBR-ISSO 9002/1994 by UC (Certifier Union) and of your products EX for CEPEL Organism (LABEX).
In September of 2002 and certified by the same norm, but with the Underwriters Laboratories Inc. UL and in June of 2003 actualize the certification of SGQ by NBR-ISO 9001-2000. Already in 2006, Sermantex Grün reaches the Certification ATEX through Physikalisch - Technischen Bundesanstalt – PTB of Germany for the lines of Command and Signalization and Photoelectric Relay
After the actualization of NBR-ISSO 9001/2000 for NBR-ISSO 9001/2008, Sermatex Grün renews the Certification in June of 2009 with DQS and UL from Brazil.

However the space in national and international market is more and more bigger, because there is the concern of innovate the products line showing to the world a new concept of design, taking as goal to reach the technology supremacy and being reference of quality and safety in business, allowing to reach new objectives.
